First, I'm not a professional developer, and have built my app through a learning curve, trial and error, so please phrase any replies in a way that an 'amateur' can follow! :thumb:
I've built an app (patient diary and invoicing app) in VB within Visual Studio 10. It connects to an Access DB on the same machine, and works fine in debug mode within the Visual Studio development environment. I published the app and installed it onto my laptop. It starts ok, but as soon as I open a form that accesses the database a dashboard dialogue box opens and gives me the message at the bottom of this post. The database is in the folder referenced in the connection string, and is named correctly. When I click 'continue' the textboxes etc on the form do not populate with the relevant fields from the database. My PC has Windows XP Pro, my laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium.
Any pointers greatly appreciated. :)
