VB 2010 Code to VB2012 UPGRADE.

Hi guys,
I am trying to open my project (code) which was written in VB (Visual Studio 2010) and now if I try to open the same code in VS 2012 Express edition, I am not able to open the files. Can anyone just let me know how to upgrade projects from VB 2010 to VB 2012.
