Data Extract and Analysis Macro

Hi everyone,

I am making an excel spreadsheet which can extract certain data from
2 other files and create a report. Actually m not a macro expert but I
trying to learn.

One of the problem is duplicate names ending with . or -
Basically that are not duplicate but classified as second contacts database.
How can my report count them as only one?

Also how can I extract data from other excel keeping same format
and importing into only specified rows and columns.


Attached file will give you a general idea. If you read the comments I
have mentioned what I am basically looking for.
