to open a word document and also create a folder and sub folder in ascending order as well as group them into 100 folder blocks. I know Im not being super clear so I will try to explain:
For example I can already create the user input script to open and save a word document based on numerical user input, however I would like it also to create a folder/subfolder. so say you open/create a word document labeled 1230.doc(x). I can make a script that will open/create a folder labeled: /documents/1230/ but what I would like a script to do is make a folder labeled: documents/1200-1299/1230/..always using 100 subfolder increments... so the next person comes along and it makes file: 1231.doc and puts it into its own subfolder but still goes into its parent folder range (/1200-1299/..). But when someone comes along and begins 1300.doc it has to create a new folder based on the new range of /1300-1399/.. and have this continue
Im having problems trying to find a way to make a script look at the folders in the /documents/ folder and create subfolders based on what it finds. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
